Advice from the Tribunal
The Tribunal staff can assist you in procedural matters and general information. They may not advise you as to the merits or prospects of success of an appeal.
The Tribunal has established a register of professional experts who are prepared to provide advice in the area of their expertise on a first consultation basis without charge. If you need such advice please contact the Tribunal staff.
Should you be represented by a lawyer or other person, or not?
To help you decide, consider whether you are able to prepare and present your case, from completion of the notice of appeal through to conduct of the contested hearing. If you are unsure or need clarification, seek advice. You may either take advice from your own selected adviser, or an adviser from the Tribunal's register (see above).
